I tend to get caught up in the details. Perhaps too caught up. When I’ve counted calories or tried to follow a specific diet plan in the past, I’ve gotten overwhelmed and a bit obsessed. I don’t want to be the girl who is continually stressing over the number on the scale and the chocolate chip cookie she ate last night. So I quit counting and quit over-thinking. Well, I’m learning to quit over-thinking. It’s a process. I want to live healthy and eat healthy, but I want to also live free. If I make a habit of clean eating and healthy choices, I am content and happy. If I “diet” and track every change, I drive myself crazy.
So. No more dieting. Instead, grace.
